Hu Jie

Hu Jie, a native of Nanjing, was born in 1958 and graduated from the Art College for the People’s Liberation Army, where he majored in oil painting. He served in the army for 15 years, and then worked as a Xinhua News Agency Reporter. He has been making documentaries since 1995.
