Robin WENG Shouming
Robin Weng, also known as Weng Shouming, began directing short films and documentaries in 2002 as a student at the Beijing Film Academy. Fujian Blue (2007), his first feature, won the Dragons and Tigers Award at the 26th Vancouver International Film Festival, was an official selection at the 2008 International Film Festival Rotterdam Tiger Awards Competition, and received post-production support from both the Pusan International Film Festival’s Asian Cinema Fund and the Rotterdam Festival’s Hubert Bals Fund. Weng recently co-produced the film Take Me to Vietnam and released a new film, Red Spider Lily (2008).
