Ou Ning is one of the leading figures in contemporary Chinese art and creative culture. As an artist, he has organized such urban research and documentation helped define the capital’s emerging rock scene. As a curator, he founded the large-scale touring biennale Get It Louder (2005-2007). He frequently contributes to magazines, books and exhibition catalogues and lectures in different parts of the world. He is also the founder of U-thèque, an independent film and video organization; and Alternative Archive, a platform for alternative cultural activities. |
