Bérénice: The final aggregated poll was published here. But I mirror your gripe, had I known we could include an extended list of "runners-up" then I would not have painfully left out:
ELECTION I / II (Johnnie To), TIMBER GANG (Yu Guangyi), DANCE WITH VILLAGE WORKERS (Wu Wenguang), SEVEN INTELLECTUALS IN BAMBOO FOREST (Yang Fudong), BLIND SHAFT (Li Yang), ROUTINE HOLIDAY (Li Hongqi), NIGHT TRAIN (Diao Yinan), IN PUBLIC (Jia Zhangke), THE WAYWARD CLOUD (Cai Mingliang), TUYA's WEDDING (Wang Quanan).

What's the final ranking?
I was unaware I could have runners-up. I had specifically explained that I didn't think 10 were enough. I would have listed FUCK CINEMA, DELAMU, GRAIN IN EAR, PEACOCK, THE MISSION, GOOD BYE DRAGON INN, ENTER THE CLOWNS, FISH AND ELEPHANT, DV CHINA, SEVEN INTELLECTUALS IN BAMBOO FOREST ... I almost cried when I had to take these films off my list.

What a great collection of lists; thanks much for asking me to participate.

Just a note, though: much as I adore Zhang Ming's RAINCLOUDS OVER WUSHAN, it was made 1995.
